      Hi

The human body is designed to use glucose as a fuel – sugar.

Thousand of years ago it wasnt as easy to find high energy high fat food as it is now. Humans would need to hunt for it and they would go for long periods without food – relying on their fat and energy stores.

Especially in children the body craves high sugar high fat foods – they taste good and children burn Kcal very fast especially during times of growth.

The high salt content also makes it tastes better. Unfortunately these days we are not as active as we used to be so we dont burn off the high fat high sugar foods and they are stored as fat.
